KELBY WATT RETURNS TO 1K FOR 2025

Adel, Iowa [February 14th, 2025] –Kelby Watt will be returning to 410 sprint car competition behind the wheel of the family-owned #1K. Having gained momentum on the road in 2024, the team will continue into 2025 on the road with a tentative schedule to compete in 40+ races, with multiple crown jewel events slated throughout the year.
“I am looking forward to my most ambitious sprint car season yet. We’ve been working hard this offseason and I am excited to get back on the track! We are extremely fortunate to have some amazing partners on board the #1K this year, which I can’t wait to reveal. I enjoyed the opportunities to drive for multiple teams this past year and look forward to having the flexibility to race anywhere for anyone this season,” shares Watt.
Returning to the #1K for the 2025 race season will be crew chief Jeff Woodruff. Woodruff has a combined total of 50 feature wins with ten different drivers and five track championships at Knoxville Raceway. In 2003 Woodruff was named the Knoxville Raceway mechanic of the year and is a Knoxville Raceway Hall of Fame inductee. This is Woodruff’s third year behind the wrenches of the #1K.
